Chapter 13. Case “A” (12)

Still several years have passed and now A occasionally shows up and says hi to us. Her speech leaves no trace of geek or child identity as she reports to us about her current life. C states that although her child personality occasionally shows up, A is generally there at home, busy in bringing up her baby son and taking care of the house.

A’s treatment course is considered to be prototypical of successful cases which clearly showed a symptoms of DID at one time, then achieved satisfactory social adaptation while their overt DID symptoms apparently subsided.
